COVID-19 Informational Session Webinar
On July 22 the Community Engagement Committee hosted a virtual listening session on COVID-19 awareness and prevention. Special thanks to Registered Nurses Sara Thimmes and Lisa Trogdon for their informative presentation highlighting the need-to-know facts about the virus and recommended safety precautions to protect ourselves and others.
CORE DC Speaks with RAN
At RAN’s July full member meeting, CORE DC gave a presentation on who they are, their goals for the future, an update on the new halfway house, and how RAN and CORE DC can continue to work together to serve those returning home from federal Bureau of Prisons. Members and guests were able to ask important questions to ensure CORE DC is committed to the highest level of care and support of the District’s returning citizens.
